May 17th 2021...

We are thrilled to announce that we will be re-opening our beautiful, fully re-furbished pub on Monday 17th May (dependant of government guidelines) and we are now open for bookings HERE.

​

Above all else, the safety of our guests, our staff and our community is our primary concern.  Our full safety measures can be read HERE.

​

We promise you to do everything we can do to ensure the Royal Oak is a safe space. But in return, we ask you to join us play your part: If you are you are feeling in any way off colour, please stay home!

​

We are closely following Government guidelines and we kindly ask all our guests to follow…

​

Our Three Rules:


1.     Please pre-book. We will try our best to accommodate drop-ins but there might be a wait while we find you a table, or we might be fully booked. BOOK HERE

​

2.     Please enter in the front door (opposite the war memorial), leave via the garden gate or the door nearest the toilets and stay at your table during your visit  – no standing at the bar (for now!)

​

3.     If you’re planning to visit and you’re feeling in any way off colour, please consider the health of your fellow dinners, our community, staff and pub and stay home!

​

On a more positive note, the pub is looking spectacular, our new team is absolutely superb, food is quite wonderful, the wine and ale are ready to flow….

 

Rest assured as soon as it is safe and we are all able ’The Royal Oak Re-Born’ will operate with a full sail, at full steam and without these restrictions. But in the meantime, thank you for understanding and please do BOOK HERE
