The Royal Oak is a listed coaching Inn dating from the 17th Century.
Situated in the peaceful Oxfordshire village of Ramsden, 3 miles from the busy market town of Witney, it is within easy reach of Oxford, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
Built of Cotswold stone, the Royal Oak faces the village Church and War Memorial and is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
The surrounding countryside is very accessible for walkers and there are several popular circular routes on which we can advise. The Royal Oak provides welcome sustenance however long the walk!
We are proud that it also happens to be a favourite eating place for the Prime Minister and his family.
